This privacy statement describes how we collect and use personal information. When you use our website and / or are in contact with us by, for example, ordering a product or ordering a service, we will process personal information about you. Here you will find information about personal data we collect, why we do this and your rights related to the processing of personal data.

 

The person responsible for processing the personal data we process is the general manager of NanoTech Solutions Norway AS.

 

Why do we collect personal information?

We collect and use your personal information for different purposes depending on who you are and how we get in touch with you. The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of a balance of interests. We have assessed it so that the treatment is necessary to be able to give you the best possible follow-up in an effective and practical way.

 

This is an overview of what information we can process about you:

 

  • First name

  • Surname

  • Phone number

  • E-mail address

  • Invoice address

  • Street address

  • IP adress

  • Account number

 

The personal information is used in these contexts:

 

  • Process orders for products and / or related services

  • Send out marketing, newsletters and provide information about our business

  • Registration as a participant / member in our database

  • Answer incoming inquiries

  • Recruitment for vacancies as a dealer. Here we will collect more personal information than those mentioned above. This can be an application, CV, certificates, diplomas, internal assessments, interview minutes, background checks and references.

Disclosure of personal information to others (data processor agreements)

We do not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis will typically be an agreement with you or a legal basis that requires us to release the information e.g. the Accounting Act.

 

We use data processors and their tools to collect, store or otherwise process personal information on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements to ensure information security at all stages of the processing. We use the following data processors as of today:

 

  • Survey Monkey (customer surveys). We usually conduct anonymous customer surveys, but can also request personal information from someone in order to follow up on answers and request evaluation.

  • Nets (online payment solution).

- Purchase of goods or services: The information is necessary to send you the product and get paid

  • Wix (web designer tool) Customer feedback / comments on our products and services: The information is used to handle submitted comments

- Newsletter: The information is used to distribute newsletters

  • 24SevenOffice (customer register). The information is used to handle all customers who purchase products and related services.

  • Google Analytics (analysis tool) Measurement of statistics for web pages, geographical location, duration of sessions and IP addresses. Used to measure traffic and optimize the site.

 

Storage time

We store your personal information with us for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal information was collected.

 

Personal information we process to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled.

 

Personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted, if you withdraw your consent. Exceptions to this are when other legislation requires us to retain the information.

 

We have our own deletion routine that explains how to delete data for the various tools we use.

 

For certain types of processing of personal data, where a third party is not involved, we retain the data for the following time period:

 

  • When recruiting dealers / partners, the information is stored until consent is withdrawn. The treatment is based on a balance of interests in relation to future collaboration opportunities.

 

  • Visitor list. Deleted continuously, usually at the end of the month. During periods of low attendance, the list can be kept until it is fully subscribed.

 

  • In the event of general inquiries to us, the information is stored until consent is withdrawn. The treatment is based on a balance of interests in relation to later inquiries and / or further inquiries on the same topic.

 

 

Your rights when we process personal information about you

You have the right to demand access, correction or deletion of the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, direct objections to the processing and demand the right to data portability (ie you can have the personal information about you handed over and reuse it as you wish across various systems and services). To exercise your rights, you must contact Onyx Scandinavia or NanoTech Solutions Norway AS. We will respond to your inquiry to us as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days.

 

We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to exercise your rights against us. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal information to you, and not someone who pretends to be you.

 

You can withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data with us at any time. The easiest way to do this is to contact us.

 

Complaints

If you believe that our processing of personal data does not comply with what we have described here or that we in other ways violate the privacy legislation, you can complain to the Data Inspectorate. You can find information on how to contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority at www.datatilsynet.no .

 

Changes

Should there be a change in our services or changes in the regulations on the processing of personal data, it may lead to a change in the information in this text. If we have your contact information, we will notify you of these changes.

 

Cookies

Onyx Scandinavia uses so-called "cookies". A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your hard drive by the website you are visiting. The file contains information and is used, among other things, to support you as a user and for statistics. In these statistics it is not possible to identify you as an individual. It poses no security risk to you, and allows us to offer you a service that works best. The function can be switched off in most browsers through a menu option such as "settings", "security" etc. However, this will have consequences for the use of the website in general and the online store in particular. The information we collect from cookies via the website is not stored.
